Weekend and Revival

Weekend recap: Friday night Casey had basketball game against Christ the King.  This was our first district game of the season.  We won 55 to 30 but in the mean time we lost one of our top scorers during the game.  He sprained his ankle really bad and is out for the next 4-6 weeks. :(   Our next game is Tuesday against an Amarillo  team.  It will be interesting to see how they do without Carson.

Saturday we just hung out at home.  We went to revival that night.  It was really good. I always look forward to revival.

  1. An improvement in the condition or strength of something:  “an economic revival”.
  2. An instance of something becoming popular, active, or important again.
resurrection – renascence – renaissance – rebirth

Our speaker is Susie Shellenberger. I remember her speaking at some youth things I attended when I was young.  She spoke about how deep our relationship is with Christ.  She talked about the different levels of a relationship with Christ: ankle deep, knee deep, waist deep, or  all in.  Her scripture reference she used was Ezekiel 47:1-12. SO GOOD! Gave me lots to think about.  I definately have some stuff to work on or should I say let God work on. She will be speaking in the Sunday morning service too so I am really looking forward to that.  Everyone have a blessed day and GO TO CHURCH! ;)
